GRAND MIDWEST HOTEL AND HOTEL APARTMENTS DUBAI

VISITOR POLICY: In keeping with guest privacy, safety and security reasons, guests may meet their invited visitors at the lobby. Any visitor invited to the respective guest room has to register at the reception with original ID/Passport. Extra charges are applicable. Visitors staying at guest rooms after 11pm will be considered as an extra occupant and charges will be applicable provided maximum number of occupancy of room is not fulfilled. The Hotel has the right to deny a visitor at anytime.

 

CHECK IN / OUT: Our Hotel check-in time is 02:00pm and check-out is 12:00pm. Please refer payment policy for security deposit during check-in time. Early check-in and late check-out options are subject to availability and requests have to be made 24 hours in advance.

 

Early Check-in Check-in before 09:00am will be charged 100% of the daily room rate and check-in after 09:00am will be charged 50% of the daily room rate.

Late Check-out Check-out time before 06:00pm will be charged 50% of the confirmed room rate and check-out after 06:00pm will be charged 100% of the confirmed room rate.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation policy of the hotel varies on the type of booking.

 

Refundable Rate In case of modification or cancellation on or before 24 hours in advance to date of arrival no charges are applicable. If modification, cancellation or no show occurs less than 24 hours to date of arrival, one full room night charges will be applicable.

Non-refundable Rate – In case of cancellation, modification or no show, total price during reservation is charged.

 

PARKING: Parking is available at the hotel. Each apartment will receive one parking space at the hotel car park. Valet parking facilities are provided by the hotel for an additional charge.

 

CHILD POLICY: Hotel charges for children aged from 0-5 free, ages 6-11 will be at half rate and ages above 12 will be charged at full rate per adult.

 

EXTRA BED: Extra beds are available to accommodate in rooms. Please make your request at the Reception. Charges apply. Please note that Studio Apartments will not accommodate extra beds.

 

PAYMENTS: We accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex card payments. Payments have to be made in advance or check-in. Cardholder needs to be present during payment. Please note that cheque payments are not accepted at the hotel. The hotel will require a refundable security deposit of AED 100 per room per night (Maximum of AED 1,000) and AED 400 per room if occupancy will be less than two nights. The deposit can be refunded during check-out. The room rates are subject to 10% service charge and 10% municipality fee.

 

ALCOHOL: This hotel does not serve alcohol in the premises.

 

AGE: Guests have to be above 21 years to check in this hotel.

 

FIRE SAFETY: This hotel is equipped with fire extinguishers and smoke alarms. Appropriate Fire Exits are marked in case of emergency.

 

GENERAL POLICY: The hotel has a zero tolerance policy in which it will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in the hotel or may remove a person who: while on the premises of the hotel acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner, destroys or threatens to destroy hotel property, or causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance; or refuses or is unable to pay for the accommodation or services. The hotel may limit the number of persons who may occupy a particular guest room in the hotel and will only allow registered guests to use its facilities. A person who negligently or intentionally causes damage to the hotel or any furniture or furnishing within the hotel, shall be liable for damages sustained by the hotel staff, including the hotel’s loss of revenue resulting from the inability to rent or lease rooms while the damage is being repaired.

 

PETS: No pets are permitted in the hotel premises in accordance with Dubai Government Health
Department regulations.

 

DRESS CODE: Appropriate dress wear is required in the hotel premises. No swim wear is allowed in public areas of the hotel except the health club on the sixth floor. No pyjamas and bed clothes are permitted at the restaurant areas. Dress code for Dinner times at the Zarita Restaurant is smart casual.

 

NO SMOKING: Please be advised that all internal public spaces including the lobby, elevators, washrooms, guest corridors, restaurants, cafes and shops including the business centre are all smoke free areas. Designated areas for smoking are outside the lobby entrance, room balconies and designated/marked areas by the pool side. Please light out cigarette buds in ashtrays. Do not litter outside the balcony.

 

HOUSE KEEPING: Housekeeping provides complimentary water, creamer and tea/coffee at your rooms upon arrival. Laundry/dry cleaning services are available daily from 8am to 5pm. Express service is available and charges will be applicable. Services including but not limited to such as Dish washing is not provided. If you require such services please inform House Keeping. Charges may apply.

 

DAMAGES: Any damage incurred to Hotel property by guests or their visitors is chargeable directly to the guest. This is inclusive but not limited to deep soiling of linen or furniture and any damage to loose and fixed items in the apartment. Market rate of damaged object will be chargeable to guest. In the event of severe damage caused and the hotel cannot sell the room on the same/next day, guest will be charged for the lost room nights.
